Learning Outcomes

Students are able to describe phenomena that have an effect on atomic and molecular absorption and emission spectra at different spectral range, and further analyze the spectral information. Students are able to compare different methods used in advanced optical spectroscopy and analyze their performance in gas-phase sensing applications.
