Aspects on the consideration of joining in the designing and materials selection of structures.  The influence of different joining methods on the properties of materials and structures. The weldability and welding methods of different materials. Long term durability of adhesive joints and factors influencing on the durability.  Designing and dimensioning principles of welded structures.
