Two midterm exams. One additional exam of the whole course will be arranged after the course.

Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, students will have the necessary basic knowledge of aerobic and anaerobic biological treatment processes. They will master the basic principles, terminology, reactor configurations, and related calculations of both processes, which will enable them to proceed to advanced levels in the field.
