Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, a student understands the fundamentals of biogas production and knows different raw materials used in biogas technology. A student is familiar with different process technologies for biogas produduction, biogas upgrading, biogas utilization and digestate use - understanding related material and energy balances. The student is also able to design an example biogas plant.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes
Exam and approved exrecise is demanded to pass this course. The grade will be determined on the basis of an exam. A good understanding the core content will suffice to a grade 3. In order to earn a grade 4 or 5 the student will have to have a good or excellent understanding of complementary knowledge.
