Description

This implementation is exclusive for students participating in Demola in the Spring 2017-2018

General description:

This online course focuses on developing both English spoken communication skills as well as Intercultural competence in multicultural team work situations. During the course, students will learn and practice important vocabulary and intercultural competence strategies for participating effectively in multicultural meetings. Note: this course is only available to students involved in Demola projects as the purpose is to support the outcome of the Demola project!

Learning outcomes:

Upon finishing the course, the students will be able to

- identify different cultural and linguistic styles of negotiation
- conduct and participate in a meeting in a multicultural team
- reflect on their own linguistic and intercultural development when working in multicultural teams
