Written exam based on the contents of the course, an assignment report and a presentation.

Learning Outcomes

After finishing the course, the student is able to define the most important materials as well as manufacturing and testing methods used in polymer composites. The student is able to analyse how composites behave under mechanical and thermal stresses and apply various test results to design proper composite structures. In addition, the student can solve problems related to joining and repair of composites.
