Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, the student will be able to: - identify the basic networking models and outline the evolution of P2P systems; - list algorithms used to search for shared resources; - describe P2P content delivery schemes and the performance issues; - explain how the most popular P2P systems work; - outline the key features of cloud computing; - present the concept of Internet of Things; - explain the benefits and the roadmap towards IoT; - explain the problems the the telecom community faces implementing IoT.
