In order to pass the course, the student must carry out three acceptable components within the given deadline (during one academic year, deadline 31.7.2019): 1) lecture diary essays, 2) a literature review and 3) a preliminary research plan. The student can attend the lectures at the university or view them online. Detailed instructions about completing each course requirement are given in the course programme linked under the "Materials" section of this page. The course is meant for doctoral students studying in the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering.
