Syksy 2018 The pilot course is organized only in Finnish Jokaisesta tiedekunnasta valitaan maisterivaiheen 3-5 opiskelijaa, jotka muodostavat poikkitieteellisen 4-5 hengen ryhmän. Kurssin tapahtumat painottuvat alustavasti tiistaille sekä perjantaille, mutta huomaa, että työskentely on kohtuullisen intensiivistä. |

Learning Outcomes
After the course, the student is able to: Use tools and methods for product design in a practical radical innovation project, use the substance knowledge of his/her studies in a real life problem solving, communicate fluently orally, by writing as well as by visual and other means and participate in a professional role in a project team that - develops highly futuristic, technologically feasible ideas - creates a demo or a prototype of a product, service or other innovation - understands how to design with incomplete information - understands the value and apply iterative prototyping - develops skills in moving ideas into testable, tangible prototypes quickly - makes well justified design decisions in an ambiguous design environment - reframes a problem taking into account the different stakeholders as well as its the societal impact Team working skills are especially emphasized as the course comprises of assignments carried out by a cross-disciplinary and international team comprising of students with different backgrounds and skill sets.

Projektityö, jossa luodaan konkreettinen ratkaisu yhteiskunnalliseen ongelmaan erilaisia innovointimenetelmiä hyväksi käyttäen, opetukseen sekä ryhmän toimintaan vastuullisesti ja aktiivisesti osallistuen.
