Learning Outcomes
The course aims to teach participants the fundamentals of organic and printed electronics, i.e. is distinct from seminar courses that focus on current research topics. Key topics include the fundamental chemistry and physics or organic electronic materials, key devices (OLEDs, OPV, diodes, transistors, power storage), key fabrication processes (printing, patterning, coating) as well as special aspects of organic electronic circuits, systems and applications. Key learning outcome is that participants should have a sufficiuent grasp of the field to either begin own research or read current literature with critical understanding.
Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes
The most important way to achieve the outcomes is to attend the lectures and exercise/discussion sessions regularly and to prepare well for and carry out the laboratory exercises.
