Description

The course deals with psychology of human behavior and its implications for designing pervasive computing applications. The covered areas include, e.g., cognition, attention, human needs and values, personality, creativity, group behavior, and communication. Pervasive computing as a broad technology domain is introduced and design implications are elaborated. Course consists of lectures, weekly exercises and both personal and group assignments (e.g., article review, design exercise on applying psychology to pervasive computing) and an electronic exam.
