Requirements

Active participation in classwork (75 % minimum attendance) and in other activities, completion of course assignments and submitting the course work necessary to obtain information on the language proficiency.

Additional information of course implementation

The group size is 26 students.

On the first meeting of the course, there will be a placement test. Students will be taken on the course based on the test. Test will check if the student has basic level skills of Finnish (A2.1 on CEFR). Placement test is a written test.

Students who can not get into the course, can join SISU-ryhmä where they can brush up their Finnish and redo the entrance exam in the beginning of the next Suomen kielen etappi 4 course. More info on SISU on the first lesson of the course.

If student can't participate on the first lesson and on the placement test, they will be automatically referred to SISU-ryhmä.
