2. Soldering and brazing. Novel brazing consumables.  The weldability and welding methods of different materials.   
3. Adhesive joining of metals and related aspects. Combination of different joining methods.  The influence of different joining methods on the properties of materials and structures.  Long term durability of adhesive joints and factors influencing on the durability.
