Description

The goal of the course is to familiarize students with the most fundamental wireless radio propagation mechanisms and phenomena of mobile radio channels. These propagation phenomena are very essential ingredient in all wireless systems and networks, impacting directly e.g. the design and optimization of the radio networks and the associated signal processing, modulation and radio resource management technigues.

After the course, a student has good working knowledge about radio channel modelling issues and he is able to utilize this knowledge in both radio network planning tasks and link-level wireless system modelling and associated signal processing tasks.
