Osaamistavoitteet
A student knows and can apply the basic principles of continuum mechanics, balance equations and the different formulations in describing a motion of a deforming body. In addition a student understands the general principles in constructing constitutive models, like objectivity and invariance.

4. | Balance equations: energy balance, balance of linear momentum, balance of moment of momentum, entropy inequality. The principle of virtual work. | ||
5. | Constitutive models: hyperelasticity, visco-elastic models. |
