Osaamistavoitteet

DEMO FACTORY is a project-oriented course with a large amount of practical work. The course is open for implementation during the entire year and there are monthly presentations day. The students will team in order to make operational a demo scale factory environment built on modular production units with special emphasis on the automation, integration, information and communication issues. The demo environment is composed of different type of sensors, actuators, CNC machines and Robots, building modular production units representing the most common production processes such as: Distribution, Buffering, Transporting, Handling, Milling, Processing, Assembling and Testing and Storing. A student will learn in factory-like environment main elements of production systems. After the course, the student will be able to identify, select production line components for building new production lines. S/he will be able to implement control solutions for a production system and its components.
