Osaamistavoitteet

Understanding the value and affordances of information technologies and being able to utilize IT in business activities are challenging. The course on Business-IT alignment dives into the details of comprehensive development, management and use of IT for the needs of organizations. After the course, the students understand the expectations and requirements by the business processes to the information systems and their management. Also, they understand how new IT solutions can be potentially used and applied in the business situations. The students understand the what kind of organizational and/or technological changes are essential. The students are equipped with readiness and means to develop organizational information systems and business processes, and their alignment.
