Osaamistavoitteet

This course introduces students to basic risk identification techniques and the assessment of workplace hazards. Upon completion of this course, student will be able to identify risks associated with manufacturing, industrial processes, work environments and working conditions and have the ability to determine the potential impact of these risks. Student will be able to apply the basic techniques to perform qualitative risk analyses and define the level of risk. In addition, student will be familiar with physical and chemical hazards, their potential effects in work environments and the basic methods of identifying hazards in the workplace.
