a) Scientific summer and winter schools
The supervisor evaluates the sufficiency of the level as well as the attainable study credits (1¿3 credits). The study requirement is an exam or an assignment (must be verified) organised by the summer/winter school or a written document of the participation prepared by the student (minimum of 1 A4 page, font Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1).

b) Conference participation
Participation in a scientific conference can be approved as a study attainment if such participation is active, such as if the student gives a presentation of their research, for example. Students must write a learning diary of their learning experience (minimum of 1 A4 page, font Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1) and have it approved by their supervisor. One study credit is awarded for the conference participation and learning diary, and the student can include a total of three study attainments of this type in their degree.
