Osaamistavoitteet
After taking this course, the student is able to describe optical effects arising from the wave character of light. The student will understand the basic concepts of systems theory. He/She can identify how the propagation of light is associated with mathematical Fourier transforms and is able to design spatial filters for optical processing. The student is also able to analyze simple holographic systems and understands the basics of coherence theory.
