Students can sign up to this course at any time during the academic year, but should complete the course within the academic year (otherwise sign up to the next academic year's implementation). The course is lectured during the 2. period, but the lectures can be viewed online afterwards. Suoritusvaatimukset

In order to pass the course, the student must carry out three acceptable components within the given deadline (during one academic year, deadline 31.7.2020): 1) lecture diary essays, 2) a literature review and 3) a preliminary research plan. The student can view the lectures online. Detailed instructions about completing each course requirement are given in the course programme linked under the "Materials" section of this page. The course is meant for doctoral students studying in the Doctoral Programme in Biomedical Sciences and Engineering.
