Learning Outcomes

After the course, student can Describe the impacts of contaminant properties on the (bio)degradability, migration and accumulation of a contaminant into air, soil, water, tissue etc. Solve typical migration and risk assessment calculations and can assess their correct order of magnitude Develop and apply conceptual model in typical contamination cases. Evaluate the feasibility of physical, biological and chemical remediation methods according to case specific boundary conditions, e.g. legislation
