Osaamistavoitteet
After completing the course, the student is able to - implement theoretical knowledge and develop a theoretical concept of an overall biological process. - name the most common unit processes in industrial bioengineering. - explain the operating principles of these processes. - explain how to manage and maintain biological processes in a bioreactor. - evaluate the feasibility of different bioprocess designs and consider the economics of the process based on the estimated selling price of the product and the planned production scale.
