This is the first English course offered to students who have chosen English as their obligatory foreign language at University.
The course aims to maximize your opportunities to interact in English in situations typical of the workplace.
The course is delivered as a 2-credit version for students, who start their studies 2019+.
The exact content and timing of the course is decided in consultation with representatives from your degree programme and will reflect the language needs of your specialist field. The course is only intended for degree students

Osaamistavoitteet

At the end of the course, you will be able to: - Communicate clearly, reliably, cohesively, and logically in English in a range of professional contexts, taking into account identity, audience, purpose, relationships, media, as well as conventions for intercultural communication where appropriate. - Reflect on your English language and communication skills through self and peer evaluation. - Apply some principles of effective teamwork in the completion of collaborative tasks.
