Objectives
Special course on wireless LAN/PAN/MAN technologies such as IEEE 802.11, 802.15, 802.16, Bluetooth, and HIPERLAN. The focus is on physical layer and MAC layer techniques, together with network architecture and security issues.

Requirements for completing the course
Exam & seminar presentation/literature study

Assessment criteria
Exam and quality of produced presentation/text materials.

Other comments
The course will be arranged every second year.

  • Partial passing of course must be in connection with the same round of implementation.
