Tavoitteet
To understand main properties of engineering ceramics, ceramic matrix and
metal matrix composites.
Sisältö
To produce facilities to use these materials in different applications.
Most important engineering ceramics and composites, mechanical properties and
other properties, machining, joining and design. Processing techniques, powders
and characterization of powders, processing additives, forming and sintering.
Examples from main areas ceramic materials are used.

Examination from given material, compulsory exercises. Personal report from
given exercises.
