Course objectives
This course will introduce to techniques and applications of modern biosensors used in biotechnology and in environmental monitoring such as in in situ detoxification and transformation of pollutants in soil, sediment and water.
Content of the course
Introduction to the field of biosensors, fundamentals of sensor techniques, construction, functions and its applications. Training and learning in principles, techniques and tools in bio-diagnostics and biosensors and its value for environmental biotechnology.
Requirements
Written exam, report on exercises.
