Basics of cell biology and biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics. The concept of systems biology and bioinformatics. Information theorec and Signal processing approaches to systems biology.
Tutkintovaatimukset
Participation in the lectures and final exam.

Lecture notes. Also recommended special chapters from the books "Molecular Cell Biology, Lodish et al.,W.H. Freeman and Company, 2002" and "Solubiologia, J.Heino ja M. Vuento, WSOY, Porvoo 2002" at the first lecture time.
