Objectives
Understanding optical telecommunication systems; active and passive components, fiber optics, modulation and demodulation techniques, design of transfer systems, wavelength devision multiplexing (WDM), optical network consepts.
Requirements for completing the course
Exercises and exam, 4 cr. Volantary project and then course extend is 5 cr.
