1. The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to design public buildings. The exercise is to design a public building located in the city center of Tampere. Total volume is about 3000-5000 squaremeters.
 		      

Requirements for completing the course
Independent work on exercise project, seminars/studio meetings every week, final critique. No lectures in English. Possibility to have 12 credits with extra work.

Evaluation criteria for the course

  • The exercise projects will be evaluated in the final critique session.

  • Used assessment scale is numeric (1-5)

    Prequisite relations (Sign up to TUT Intranet required)

    Remarks

    1. implementation 1.9.-20.12.2006. 2. implementation 1.1.-15.5.2007 (new exercise). It is also possible to participate course ARS-4300 in Finnish in periods 3-4.

  • Partial passing of course must be in connection with the same round of implementation.
