Remarks
The course is intended to cover the fundamentals of protocol implementation: protocol design, specification, verification and testing as well as implementation issues including packet classification and filtering, retransmissions and efficiency. Linux traffic control, kernel threads and implementation of IP and TCP are examined as practical examples. The course consists of 2 parts: lectures and laboratory work. Note the extraordinary times for the start of the course (15.1.2007), owing to this course being lectured from an external university.
