Objectives
The objective of the course is to get aquatinted with scientific research and writing of a research report. During the course, students will get the basic skills needed for writing the Masters Thesis. The students will write about 15-page report of selected topic related to Industrial Engineering and Management which will be presented to the seminar group (5-10 students). The seminar sessions provide students excellent opportunities to discuss their ideas and receive feedback both on their ideas and writing style. In addition to the writing skills, the course will also enhance the student's understanding of selected industrial-management-related issues. Thus, it is recommended that students choose a topic that they personally find interesting and could consider as a potential topic for Masters Thesis. However, in this course, the topic is not a key issue.
