Language of Instruction
Lectures, exercises, materials and exam are in English. The course "Occupational Safety and Health" is lectured in English once per academic year (if the number of participants is sufficient i.e. min. 10 students). However, it is possible to complete the course also by learning sessions and individual study.

Objectives
After the course the students will be able to define the main principles of occupational safety and health and understand their meaning in industry. The students should also be able to identify hazards at work and know basic corrective measures.

Students should take this introductory course before participating in other cources of occupational safety engineering (unless already studied at home university).
