Objectives
On this course student learns about project management, working in a project in practice and learns to write project reports. Course is good practice for writing diploma work.

Requirements for completing the course
Attendance on two obligatory starting lectures and at least on five seminar meetings. Two presentations and written project plan and final report.

Evaluation criteria for the course

  • Credits are assessed by difficulty of the project and work load of the students in the project group. Credits are agreed in the project plan and possible extra work which would increase the amount of credits is also described in the same report.

  • Used assessment scale is passed / failed

    Prequisite relations (Sign up to TUT Intranet required)

    Additional information about prerequisites
    Student should have enough basic knowledge from signal processing which enables him/her to do the chosen projekt work.

  • Partial passing of course must be in connection with the same round of implementation.

  • Learning by doing and by feedback obtained from the work. In the starting lectures clear instructions are given regarding written reports in order to guarantee uniform assessment.
