Objectives
To gain understanding of various kinds of Master's theses, the process of preparing a thesis, and the extent of work, in order to support the selection of one's own thesis topic.

1. The process of preparing a M.Sc. thesis. The extent of work involved.  Writing practices. Arrangements of the thesis work.  Familiarizing oneself with the work done by other thesis workers. The topics often represent the latest developments in a specific sector. 

Requirements for completing the course
Participation in at least six seminar sessions is required.

Evaluation criteria for the course

  • Active participation in seminar sessions is required.

  • Used assessment scale is passed / failed

    Additional information about prerequisites
    It is recommended that at least the subject studies in Digital and Computer Systems have been completed before taking this course.

    Remarks

    Compulsory to those who do their Diploma thesis in Digital and Computer Systems. One may also follow the sessions of the institutes of Signal Processing, Telecommunications, and Software Systems.
