Objectives
This course is an introducton to the chemical physics of surfaces and nanostructured materials. Topics discussed will cover the morphology and electronic structure of surfaces, surface thermodynamics, dynamics of surface phenomena, formation of surface compounds as well as the mechanical properties and reactivity of surfaces.

Requirements for completing the course
Passed final exam and accepted seminar presentation.
