Objectives
The student shows how he or she has used English and improvements in his or her linguistic skills. There are several options for doing this. For example, the student can write an essay based on technical and/or scientific research. The essay must be 5000 words long with five (5) references. The student should contact the teacher in advance to present a plan and, after the work, report on it to the teacher.

1. Good knowledge of and skills in technical and scientific writing and the use of varying lexicon, phrases and idioms typical to the genre.
 
Topic-specific technical jargon.
 
The use and recognition of proper text types and style.

Knowledge of topic-specific technical jargon, scientific language in general, and the words and phrases commonly used for references to other technical and scientific texts.

    MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Completion of KIE-3200 (or KIE-3210) as well as one course at the advanced level.
