Objectives
To introduce to applications and methods of information technology and computer science in medicine and health care.

Content

3. Medical information systems: health care and clinical information systems, decision support systems.        
4. Safety and security of the information systems. Standardization.

Requirements for completing the course
Active participation in the lectures and exercises (20%), seminar work and oral presentation (30%), final exam on the Internet (50%).

Evaluation criteria for the course

  • Final exam 50%, seminar work and presentation 30%, assignments 20%.
