Objectives
The course aims at giving a wide perspective on management and institutional options of water and sanitation services in urban and rural areas.

1. | Course highlights various types of public and private systems and public-private partnerships. Examples from Finland, France, Britain, the Baltic region and developing countries will be presented. |   | |
2. | In addition, viability assessment practices and tools such as participatory decision support system, benchmarking and performance indicators at utility level will be dealt with. |   |
Requirements for completing the course
Proactive attendance in lessons and essay seminars. Participants will prepare and present essay seminars on related topics or cases to be selected.
