1. Technical textile seminar focus is changing yearly. Smart fibre materials for intelligent textiles and smart wear applications is discussed. The course is introduction to highly functional and smart materials. Major issues are electrically conducting polymers, memory materials, and chromic compounds. Systems of phase change and selective release are taught. Intelligent textiles and related technical products are discussed. Electro textiles and flexible circuits technologies are reviewed.

Approved seminar paper requested.
