Objectives
The course introduces the process of master's thesis writing with the aims that the student understands how the process works, what is the scope of a thesis and what kinds of topics can be possible for a Master's thesis.

1. | Learning the process of preparing a Master's Thesis. Understanding the Scope of the thesis. | Good practises of the writing process and the arrangements relating to the Master's Thesis. | Familiarisation of a number of other Master's Theses in the same major subject area as the student. The course should be taken at a time when most of the courses for the major have been completed or are under study.
Remarks
The course is recommended for everybody doing the Master's Thesis in Communications Engneering. It is important to follow at least a few seminar presentations to be prepared for giving the own Thesis Seminar presentation, which is mandatory.

Additional information related to course
The seminar is attended also by the international students of the Institute of Digital and Computer Systems and the Institute of Telecommunications.
The student should begin to attend the seminars early enough in his/her studies so that there is sufficient time to listen to the seminars given in English before the student wants to graduate.
