Objectives
The student will familiarize himself with basic mechanisms, mechanical components, actuators and sensors used in mechatronic systems and also with controllers of mechatronic systems.

Content

1. What is mechatronics?  Signal conditioning.  Programming control of mechatronic system with graphical development environment. 
2. Sensors and transducers.       
3. Mechanical and electrical actuators.       
4. Microprocessors and programmable logic controllers.

Accepted examination, exercises and written seminar work.

Evaluation criteria for the course

  • The score of the course is determined by the points from examination. Exercise and seminar works are necessary.
