Objectives
This course is designed to give the student an introduction to the systems engineering process and introduce to the student to critical issues in the field of systems engineering applied to the factory automation domain.

2. History; Methodologies; Tools and Techniques; and the modeling of systems for SE       
3. Applications and Practice of SE to the Factory Automation domain  The knowledge of OO programming languages (e.g. C++, Java)
