Objectives
GOALS AND CONTENTS: The purpose of the course is to provide basic elements for understanding African architecture by exploring the contribution of African philosophies and religions on the built environment. The course will focus on three major topics: Definition of African architecture, traditional architecture, concepts and origins of African cities.
Requirements for completing the course
Participation in seminar lectures, exercise and writing personal essay on a chosen topic.
