Objectives
The seminar aims at advancing the knowledge in environmental engineering and management, including water engineering and management, and focuses on the understanding of the structure and the content of scientific publications, in writing a literature review and oral presentation skills in English.

Content

1. The students review special topics related to water, wastewater and waste treatment and management,and environmental risk and effect management.
 
     

Requirements for completing the course
Participation in seminars (at least 80%), accepted written and oral presentation and acting as an opponent for another student.

  • Used assessment scale is numeric (1-5)

  • Prerequisites
    Prequisite relations (Sign up to TUT Intranet required)

    Additional information about prerequisites
    Sufficient amount of water and waste engineering and management studies. The study course is ment for MSc students.

    Remarks

    Students independent literature search and writing the literature review according to the seminar instructions (see the Insitutes web page).

  • Partial passing of course must be in connection with the same round of implementation.
