Objectives
The course aims at giving a wide perspective on management and institutional options of water and sanitation services in urban and rural areas.

1. Course highlights various types of public and private systems and public-private partnerships. Examples from Finland, France, Britain, the Baltic region and developing countries will be presented.        
2. In addition, viability assessment practices and tools such as participatory decision support system, benchmarking and performance indicators at utility level will be dealt with.       

Requirements for completing the course
Proactive attendance in lessons and essay seminars. Participants will prepare and present essay seminars on related topics or cases to be selected.
