Language of Instruction
In order to give a good presentation it is recommended that the student listens to other similar presentations first and learns about the good methods and the mistakes of the previous presenters.

Objectives
The goal of the seminar presentation is to develop the student's ability to speak about his topic to an audience of peers and to inform the students about the recent technological developments in the thesis. One objective is also to prepare fellow students to the process of writing their master's thesis.

Requirements for completing the course
Giving a 15-20 min seminar presentation of the topic area of one's own master's thesis and responding to questions about it from the audience. Starting the study year 2007-2008 a maturity test is also a requirement to pass the course. It is a written essay of three A4 pages about the presentation. The language of the essay is English and it does not contain illustrations or tables. The essay needs to be submitted to the supervisor of the thesis at least one week before the presentation. The course is compulsory to those who plan to graduate from the Institute of Digital and Computer Systems.
