Objectives
Student knows the theoretical background and the most important analytical methods of beam structures.

1. Theorems of work and energy and applications to the statics of beam structures. Torsion of thin-walled beams. Buckling, torsional buckling and lateral buckling. Plasticity theory of beam structures.

Exercises, individual works and a written examination.
