  Description Methods of instruction Implementation
Implementation 1 GDL Object Making. The aim is to learn to program self-made GDL-objects, which can be used within the ArchiCAD software and with the help of special GDL Adapter software also with AutoCAD. GDL-language is quite easy to assimilate. It is based on English language and is quite similar to Basic-language. On the course we move from simple basic objects on to versatile and sophisticated parametric objects. By this course you can: deepen your knowledge about CAD, raise you're skills level; increase your compatibility in the labour market; improve the elegance and quality of your work - and go far beyond architecture; make ArchiCAD leap beyond the usual tools palette Basic skills with ArchiCAD are a benefit, but you don't have to be a master. The teacher is Henrik Nederström (assisted by Martti Lamppu). Henrik is experienced GDL- and ArchiCAD-teacher and also experienced maker of GDL-object Libraries. He's well acquainted with ArchiCAD by doing the Finnish localization work and by updating the Finnish manual. Course extent is two periods. Situation on the periods (I, II, III) will be announced later.   Lectures
