Objectives

The student will familiarize himself with basic mechanisms, mechanical components, actuators and sensors used in mechatronic systems and also with controllers of mechatronic systems.

Content

1. Introduction to mechatronics.  Measurement and signal handling techniques.   Graphical development environment for control. 
2. Sensors and transducers.     
3. Signal conditioning and data presentation systems.     
4. Actuators.

The score of the course is determined by the total sum of points from examination and exercises.
